Pickup Running Board Assemblies

Running board and side step assemblies for pickups and SUVs are produced in the same Qinghe plant that builds sealing systems, a line Beijing HuaTong entered in 2004 with side steps for Foton Sauvana, Sup, Legian and Tunland programmes. Boards are roll-formed from aluminium or steel with anti-slip tread surfaces, honeycomb or slotted styling, ABS end caps and powder-coated or chrome-plated finishes; mounting brackets are laser-cut and welded for direct bolt-on installation to OEM chassis points without drilling. Load capacity, corrosion resistance (salt-spray tested coating) and fit accuracy to the customer's wheelbase are validated before release. Styles range from discreet black utility boards to chrome show boards with brand badging, and new boards are developed from the vehicle's chassis data as an OEM or accessory programme.
