EPDM Rubber Sealing Strips

EPDM rubber sealing strips are co-extruded on microwave vulcanization lines for automotive door, window, hood, trunk and lamp sealing, as well as curtain-wall and door-window sealing in buildings. Beijing HuaTong runs single and composite extrusion lines with online flocking and spray coating, so dense, sponge and dense-plus-sponge cross-sections with metal or plastic inserts can be produced in one pass. The EPDM compound gives stable performance against ozone, UV, heat ageing and low temperature, keeping compression set and sealing force within specification over years of outdoor service. Cross-sections are designed from the customer's mating flange: profile drawing, sampling and tooling are completed in-house, and the bird's-nest stadium project seals were developed the same way. Quality control under IATF 16949:2016 covers compound testing (Mooney viscosity, cure curve, tensile, hardness, low-temperature brittleness, ozone ageing), online dimension checks with a profile projector and batch traceability.
