Composite Sealing Strips (Solid Rubber + Sponge + Steel Insert)

Composite sealing strips co-extrude a dense EPDM carrier, a sponge sealing bulb and an embedded steel or aluminium skeleton in one profile, giving a gasket that clips firmly to the body flange and seals with low closing force. Changfeng's three-compound extrusion lines produce these profiles for car doors, bus doors, hatch covers and industrial enclosures, with optional flocking on the glass-run side to reduce friction and squeak. The metal insert keeps the section dimensionally stable over long runs and allows the strip to follow complex body radii. Sections are designed around the customer's flange and gap data, validated by compression-load and insert-retention testing, and supplied in coils or weld-cornered frames.
