SAIC MAXUS

SAIC MAXUS is a commercial vehicle brand of SAIC Motor, one of China's largest automotive groups. Its light and medium duty truck operations are run by SAIC Maxus Automotive Co., Ltd. (Nanjing Branch). Founded in 1958 in Nanjing, the plant produced China's first light truck and today has more than 3,000 employees including over 600 product developers, with an annual capacity of 100,000 units covering six product platforms from 2.5T to 18T GVW. The truck range spans fuel (Diesel & gasoline) N1/N2 light trucks and pure electric EV models, including the C100/C101, C300, C500, H300 and EH300 platforms. Built to European standards, the vehicles are tested in high-temperature, extreme-cold and high-altitude conditions to ensure reliability across diverse environments. Selling through the SAIC MAXUS overseas dealer network of more than 500 dealers, the trucks sold 2,200 units in 2022 and now cover 30+ countries in South America, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa. In Chile the C101 ranked second in the N1 segment with 3,790 units sold by 2022. The EH300 electric light truck has obtained European WVTA certification, supporting low-emission logistics in Europe. The brand also provides dedicated overseas warranty, spare-parts and technical-support services.
